  • Letter from LP to Mr. P. Bergmans, Director of Elsevier Publishing Company, RE: Notes that Professor F. Arasa sent him Bergmans' letter of April 13th. Recalls that Arasa had asked Bergmans to publish a book containing articles from Folia Humanistica, dedicated to LP, but that Bergmans does not publish in English for domains other than the natural sciences. Asks Bergmans if it is true that he is planning to publish a volumes in English containing the addresses for Nobel Prizes in Peace and Literature. Freeman Company RE: LP has examined the manuscript Plasma Chemistry by Hellund and recommends that it not be published.  LP cites several problems with the manuscript, among them being the poor treatment of molecular structure, chemical equilibrium and reaction rates.
