  • Letter from Gustav Albrecht to LP, RE: Albrecht received LP's letter of September 15 today. Albrecht thinks that the way in which some of his mail got mixed with LP's was by either Phil or the boys putting mail in the carton of LP's mail while Albrecht was in Pasadena. Jan is going to a ship salvage place in L.A. in a few days to look for the door hardware. The road to Salmon Cone is almost finished and the Paulings will probably be satisfied with it. Albrecht discuses cattle guards and attempts to dissuade LP from putting them in at the ranch. Albrecht put in an extension phone at the building site to save time and prevent missed calls. All goes well and they will pour the slabs this week. Albrecht looks forward to seeing LP and AHP in a week or so. [Filed under LP Personal Safe, Drawer #2, Folder #2.024]
