- Letter from R. Viswanathan, Director General of Health Services, New Delhi, India, to Dr. M.S. Sundaram, Embassy of India, RE: Drs. Perry and Lippman are undoubtedly well-qualified. However, it will be difficult to assign them to any paid post. Suggests that they come to India through some International Agency like T.C.M. or the Rockefeller Foundation. No foreign doctors are allowed to come to India for private practice. They could do teaching and research only for a while, but they still would not be able to be paid by an Indian institution. There is also the question of recognition by the Indian Medical Council of American degrees, since there is no reciprocal recognition so far. [Letters from Sundaram to LP August 1, 1955, September 27, 1955] [Filed under LP Correspondence: (S: Correspondence, 1953-1956), #379.3]
- Research Notebook of LP RE: Answers to certain problems in chapters 24-28 of the chemistry textbook, Col. Ch. p. 36. [Filed under LP Research Notebooks: 35Rb].
