Dear Gus:

Sometime during the next couple of months would you look through the literature, Science, Chemical and Engineering News, and so on, for biographical sketches or notices about Dr. Arthur Amos Noyes, who died in 1936, and have Xerox copies made of whatever you find, except that you can ignore short notices.

I am interested in trying to get additional information about his life, because I have agreed to write a biographical sketch of him.

You might look at the one that I published. I enclose a reprint. If you find statements that contradict what I have said, please let me know.
