- Letter from LP to Scott Nagel, RE: LP is enclosing a copy of his letter that was published in the New York Times and a copy of a statement prepared by the Committee of the Southern California Federation of American Scientists. The television interview that Nagel referred to was one in which LP suggested that some degree of protection against Strontium-90 is provided to some people, especially in Mexico, who get their calcium from the calcium carbonate of rocks, through eating corn that is ground between rocks containing limestone.
