• Handwritten note from Dr. K. Venkateswarlu, Professor and Head of the Department of Physics at Annamali University, to LP, RE: Introduces himself as someone who studied geophysics at Caltech during 1949-50 as a post-doctoral student and says that he met LP and AHP during the Indian Science Congress Session. Tells LP that one of his lecturers, Mr. S. Srinaman, did some work on magnetic studies of hydrogen bonds, complex ions, and alkali metals. Says that Srinaman submitted the results and has obtained a thesis for the Ph.D. degree. Asks LP to accept to be an examiner and chairman of the thesis evaluation committee of their University.
