Eliot to LP RE: Tells LP that is he grateful that our nation permits one-man journalism, such as that of Arnoni, however he also expresses his feeling of mistrust towards Arnoni’s judgement. He tells LP that he is trying to cancel his name from Arnoni’s lists. - Handwritten note from Roberta Bratenahl to LP RE: Encloses a copy of the petition entitled, “Purposes of a World Referendum on the Use of Nuclear Weapons and Testing” that was circulated several years ago. Discusses the controversy surrounding the United Nations as an organization and says that a General World Referendum on testing and disarmament outside of the United Nations should have been established. Vogt to LP RE: Vogt presents an idea to LP whereby Nobel Prize winners would contribute their sperm to a storage facility so that women married to sterile men may choose to be impregnated by a man who has demonstrated worth and ability. Vogt explains in greater detail his idea and seeks LP’s opinion on this matter.
