    Mr. Frank Huse

    L. E. Coppersmith Company

    426 South Spring Street

    Los Angeles, California

    Dear Mr. Huse:

I enclose a list of the articles that I think are in the shipment of antique furniture, with the prices that were quoted to me originally.

The sum comes to 11,200 in Norwegian kroner. In fact, I paid 11,500 kroner to Mrs. Rosenqvist, this being the sum mentioned by her in a letter to me. I think that the difference of 300 kroner may be the cost of packing.

    Yours truly,

    mjh Linus Pauling

    Enc.
