Notes that the standard boiling point is larger than the standard melting point for most substances, except for those that sublime, rather than melt, at ordinary pressure. Hafner RE: Tells Hafner that he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon Agricultural College in 1922 and carried on his Graduate work at the California Institute of Technology after receiving a Graduate Assistantship there. Explains that he feels it is better to go on immediately to receive an advanced degree, rather than taking a break after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree. Says that it would be worthwhile to go to Graduate School if a student is given a Graduate Assistantship or Fellowship. - Letter from Phyllis Patterson, Fulton Publishing Company, to AHP, RE: AHP's letter of April 13 arrived today and Patterson will send off the additional ten copies at the 60 cent rate. Mr. Greene is away this week, but when he returns, Patterson will give him AHP's letter, as Patterson is sure that he will be interested in AHP's suggestions regarding distribution of the book in socialist countries and in West Germany. In regard to the demonstration in the Hague, no one has yet made plans for distribution to the NATO countries, but it would be a good idea.
