- Letter from Edward Doane, President, Church of Light, to L.A. DuBridge, Caltech President, RE: Doane received an article of LP's, from LP, mailed under Caltech's imprint and with a metered stamp. It was in response to a mailing from Doane to LP, and Doane seems offended that the Institute would back LP's beliefs, which he finds suspicious and potentially Communist. Rather than calling a press conference and attacking the Institute publicly, Doane decided to write to DuBridge, since DuBridge might not have been aware that LP sent the article under Caltech's imprint.
