    I was very pleased to learn that you have been awarded the Gmalin-Beilstein Prize and I am writing to extend my congratulations to you.

    I look forward to seeing you again one of those days. My wife and I are planning to be in Germany, but only for a couple of days, 25 to 27 September, in Essen, where I am to speak at a public meeting at the invitation of Pastor Niemoller. We then must move on to Norway, and then to Pasadena.
