Re: California Institute of Technology Freshman Laboratory Manual, submitted by J. Michael Smith, Assistant Professor of Chemistry.
I think that this is excellent, and I strongly recommend that you make an effort to get the Manual for W. H. Freeman and Company.
The writing seems to me to be first-rate, in general. I feel that I might want to make a few detailed suggestions about the manuscript, later on, but I have not found anything that seems to me to be unsatisfactory.
