    December 27, 1966

    Dear Peter:

I enclose a copy of a letter that I sent to Watson, after finally having received an answer from him. A Xerox copy of his letter is enclosed also.

Would you check with the company that sends Penguins to me, or check the bills that they submit to you, about sending duplicate copies. The last shipment contained a copy of the book The Russians Are Coming, by Nathaniel Benchley, which had been sent also in an earlier shipment. I think it is the third duplicate that has been sent. It is difficult for me to check, because some of the books are in Santa Barbara and some at Salmon Creek.

    Love from
