Letter from Linus Pauling to Christian Anfinsen. September 21, 1955Pauling writes that Dr. Orr E. Reynolds will soon make an announcement about the Molecular Structure and Biological Specificity Symposium. Pauling hopes that Anfinsen, Hirs, Moore, and Stein will attend as he is pleased to hear about their progress in determining the complete sequence of amino acid residues and the disulfide cross-linkages in ribonuclease. He requests Anfinsen’s advice on whether this work would be relevant to the Symposium and whether Anfinsen and his colleagues would be willing to present it. View Transcript
