  • Letter from Raymond Cooper to LP RE: Has had a number of ideas, but no recompense. Has an idea for curing cancer, which involves encouraging syphilis cells to destroy cancer cells. Submitted the idea to a cancer institute; was told that due the spatial closeness of syphilis and cancer cells, there was nothing in this idea. Does not agree.
