    Dr. Henry S. Sims

    Rockleigh Road

    Rockleigh, New Jersey 07647

    Dear Dr. Sims:

I have received your letter of 25 July. I don't think that it refers really accurately to the statements made in my letter, but I shall not bother to make a correction. I shall, however, deny the statement that you make in your letter, reading "you trust the Russians and the Chinese Communists." This statement is not true, as you could easily verify by reading my book No More War!. I don't trust any national governments, and I don't trust the militarists anywhere.

    Sincerely,

    Linus Pauling
