    Dear Linie,

    I have asked Mr. Knight of the ACLU to send this letter to your hotel.

    Mama and I arrive in Denver at 7:50 A.M. on Saturday 19 November, on the Union Pacific train City of St. Louis. I don't know what hotel you are in. Perhaps you could meet us at the station. If not, we shall see you at the hotel - Mr. Knight will tell me what the hotel is.

    On 18 November we shall be at Kansas State College, Manhattan, Kansas, in charge of Dr. Ralph S. Leshbrook, Department of Journalism. Our train leaves at 11:20 P.M.

    Mama and I expect to have most of the day free to talk with you. We are looking forward to it.
