  • Letter from Dr. Albert P. Kline, Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery, to Emil Ott, Chairman, Committee on Financing of ACS Publications, American Chemical Society, RE: In response to the questionnaire, states that Chemical Abstracts is not as inclusive, useful, or well-written as it used to be. Also, the publication is too expensive to be widely used. States that all of these issues could be overcome with sufficient financial support. Suggests that funds be collected from all users, not just members, including governments, industries, and private research institutes. [Letter from Ott to Kline, cc. LP, February 7, 1950] [Filed under LP Correspondence: (Chemical Abstracts), #70.2]
