Dr. K. Landsteiner

Medical Research
New York, N. Y.
Dear Dr. Landsteiner:
Since returning to Pasadena I have been too busy with various matters to spend much time thinking about the structure of proteins. I am planning to begin work on this problem soon, however, and I would be grateful if you could let me have copies of reprints of your later papers, especially those not discussed in your book.
I hope that you arc considering the possibility if coming to Pasadena to work in our laboratories after you retire at the Rockefeller Institute, and that you will discuss with me later the facilities which you would need in order to carry on your work satisfactorily.
With very best regards, I am
Sincerely yours,
Linus Pauling
