Dear Professor Noyes:

I wish to recommend the appointment of Dr. Boris Podolsky (Ph.D., C.I.T., 1928 National Research Fellow, Berkeley and Leipzig, 1928-30) as Research Fellow in Physical Chemistry for the period December 15, 1930 to June 15, 1931, at a stipend of $100 per month, to carry out with me an accurate numerical solution of the wave equation for the normal state of the hydrogen molecule.
