2016 Linus Pauling Legacy Award

Oregon State University professor and U.S. Science Envoy for the Ocean Dr. Jane Lubchenco spoke in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Her lecture, titled "Scientists Making Waves and Bringing Hope," was presented at the Oregon Historical Society Museum. Lubchenco was honored as the ninth recipient of the Linus Pauling Legacy Award, granted once every two years for outstanding achievement in an area of study once of interest to Dr. Linus Pauling. The Pauling Legacy Award is sponsored by Oregon State University Libraries and Press.
