Letter from Linus Pauling to Victor Reynolds. May 19, 1955Pauling explains that he will not be able to complete the manuscript for the third edition of "The Nature of the Chemical Bond" by December 31, 1955, due to unexpected events in his life. Pauling does not think that the book should go out of print and suggests that he could prepare the manuscript by July 1956, or by some later date if Reynolds prefers. View Transcript
