Letter from Linus Pauling to Isidor Fankuchen. June 5, 1953Pauling apologizes for having taken a while to get back to Fankuchen; after returning from Belgium, he is finding himself overwhelmed with problems that need to be solved. He notes that he still intends to prepare a short chapter for inclusion in the American Association of Scientific Workers book on Science and Peace. Pauling states that the chapter will cover the topic of preventive medicine from the standpoint of the fundamental scientist rather than that of the medical practitioner. View Transcript
