Letter from Linus Pauling to Ben May. June 22, 1953

Pauling writes to thank May for his letter about potentiators, and notes that he does not know much about them, but would like to learn more. He mentions his trip to Europe to take part in the 9th Solvay Congress on Chemistry and the structure of proteins and adds that he will return to Germany for a month soon as a lecturer. Pauling describes the troubles that Caltech is encountering with raising funds for a proposed new building dedicated to research on the modern attack on medical problems. He concludes that he does not plan to travel to Alabama in the future, but gathers that he and May will see each other soon.  View Transcript
