Letter from Linus Pauling to Benjamin D. Gordon. June 19, 1953Pauling writes to send the reprint that Dr. Gordon requested as well as some of his recent protein papers. He states that he is no longer doing research on the synthetic antibodies due to his preoccupation with other subjects. Pauling notes that his laboratory is making progress on the manufacture of specific inorganic absorbents, and concludes by stating that he is sorry that his work on artificial antibodies was not more promising, but feels that there was some value in researching it.
