LP suggested that there needs to be a movement where "an American Committee for World Sanity" was created. The Committee would focus in on foreign policy and peace. The letter clearly states the wish of the committee that LP be its chairmen. The committee asks the recipients of the letter, what their standpoint on this new committee is.
