- Letter from Dr. E. U. Condon to LP RE: Cannot accept invitation to speak at the conference on American Civil Liberties versus the Black List. Has made a decision not to give any more political speeches because they interfere with his scientific work. Condon and his wife will probably come down during the National Academy meetings in November so they will look forward to seeing LP and AHP then. Corning has asked Condon to make an annual visit to each of the places where there is a Corning fellow; he will want to meet the one working at Caltech at that time. Gives his phone number in case Dr. Sarabhai would like to visit him at Berkeley. [Filed under LP Correspondence: (C: Individual Correspondence. (Condon - Cornforth)), #67.1]
