About This Site
SCARC Oral History Online provides an alphabetical interface to several hundred oral history interviews that have been released on multiple websites since 2011. These websites are:
- The Oregon State University Sesquicentennial Oral History Project
- The Oregon African American Railroad Porters Oral History Collection
- Multicultural Voices of Oregon
- Voices of the Forests, Voices of the Mills
- Voices of Northwest Brewing
- Voices of Oregon Agricultural College
- Voices of Oregon Burlesque
- Voices of OSU Women
- Voices of a Warming Planet
In addition, SCARC Oral History Online is being used as a platform to release individual oral history interviews that do not fit within the themes or purviews of the resources identified above.
The website is a product of the Oral History Program in the Special Collections and Archives Research Center at the Oregon State University Libraries and Press. It was created by Geordan Lightburn, Chris Petersen and Clara Smith.
