Oregon Hops and Brewing Archive

The Special Collections & Archives Research Center's holdings include numerous collections pertaining to natural resources in the Pacific Northwest. A core collection in this area is the Gerald W. Williams Collection, which includes the personal papers and collected historic photographs of Williams, former chief historian for the U.S. Forest Service. Other significant natural resources-related collections include the papers of wildlife conservationist William L. Finley, the Pacific Northwest Stream Survey Records, and the Alderman Farms Films.

The massive Oregon Explorer Natural Resources Digital Library is a major source for information to help citizens, planners and policymakers make more informed decisions about Oregon's natural resources and communities. The Oregon Hops and Brewing Archive is a collecting initiative, documentation, and community archiving project that will tell the story of hops production and the craft beer industry in Oregon.
