Dear Milton:
I thank you for your letter about my move to Stanford University and my participation in the Centennial celebration at Oregon State.
The conference at Oregon State was very good. I was pleased to be able to hear some of the other speakers – unfortunately Roger Revelle was not able to get there, because of being snowbound in Boston.
With best regards, and the hope that I shall see you again before long, I am
Sincerely yours,

Dear Malcolm:
We are thinking of moving our laboratory to Stanford about the end of May, and I am writing to ask if the room in your building will be available for our occupancy then.
Dr. Arthur B. Robinson will be in charge of the moving. I don't think that you have met him - he has been in Stanford a couple of times recently, but I do not believe that he mentioned having seen you. He worked with me when he was an undergraduate at CIT. During the present year he has been Assistant Professor of Biology here, after having got his Ph.D. in chemistry. He has been granted leave of absence for the coming year, which he will spend at Stanford.
With best regards, I am
Sincerely yours,
