Dear Sir:
I have asked that a check for the sum of $10,000 made out to account number 500-587S, Credit Lyonnais, Agence de Montpellier, be sent to you by The Fund for the Republic, Santa Barbara, California.
This sum of $10,000 is to be put at the disposal of Dr. Emile Zuckerkandl of the Department de Biochimie Macronoleculaire of the CMRS, Montpellier, who is collaborating with me in a program of research on the molecular basis of mental disease. Dr. Zuckerkandl will use the money for this purpose during the coming year or two.
I shall be grateful to you for administering this research fund for Dr. Zuckerkandl and me.
