- Letter from Francis Hoague to LP RE: Encloses a photostat of the interrogatories by The Bellingham Herald. Writes that Mr. Tonkoff could go over LP’s answers in detail on the 29th. Also mentions that he obtained a written agreement from the attorney that they may file their objections to any or all of the interrogatories at any time without being limited by the usual ten day rule. - Letter from LP to Ben May, RE: There is a lot of work that can be done to follow up LP’s ideas on anesthesia. Dr. Frank Catchpool is currently working on an experimental study of brain tissue in relation to the subject. He doesn’t know whether this theory will have any relation to electro-therapy or insulin shock, but he has a feeling that the hydrate microcrystals discussed in the paper have some physiological significance. Woolpert to LP RE: Woolpert discusses “The California Law of Water Rights” and how it affects LP’s ability to claim that LP can take water from the stream that does not touch LP’s land. Woolpert explains the law and says that unless LP’s deed indicate a conveyance of riparian water rights, that LP does not have much upon which to base a claim.
