- Letter from LP to Helen Lee RE: LP says his statement that one-fourth of the children would be born with serious physical or mental defects, not necessarily leukemia. LP tells Lee that it is not possible to have one's gene pattern determined and briefly discusses the causes of leukemia. Says that if she had had a child that was mentally deficient due to phenylketonuria then he would not have further children but leukemia doesn't fall into this category. Badger to LP RE: Updates LP on the status of the film on molecular vibrations which is that the Sloan Foundation wants assurance that 500 copies of the film will be sold before they back it but the NSF cannot make this guarantee.
