Letter from Linus Pauling to Lucille Jenkins. October 27, 1954Pauling writes to update his sister on family news, his latest research, and forthcoming travels. He apologizes that he was unable to see her last June; his stay in Portland was very brief, and was too rushed to make it out to Estacada. Pauling mentions that Linda is in England with Peter. Pauling also discusses his work in revising "College Chemistry," and notes that he will be going on a three week trip east to give a series of lectures at Princeton University. He encloses a 50 dollar check to keep the cemetery lot clean. View Transcript
