Letter from Linus Pauling to Frank Aydelotte. September 7, 1946

Pauling writes that he and Ava Helen wish to stay in a hotel rather than keep their own house while in Oxford. As a result, Pauling would prefer not to have use of the Eastman House. He discusses arrangements for an automobile while in England, proposing that he purchase the vehicle and, upon his departure, the university buy it from him at its current value.  View Transcript
