Letter from Linus Pauling to William Eberhardt. July 24, 1946

Pauling states that Eberhardt should consider leaving his appointment at Georgia Tech. Pauling asks if Eberhardt could leave during the summer, or if he has existing commitments. He assures Eberhardt that he will be able to find employment, with a salary of roughly $3,000/year, in any region of the United States. He notes available positions at Iowa State College, Oregon State College, and the University of Virginia, among others. Pauling offers to provide recommendations, as needed, for Eberhardt.  View Transcript
