Letter from Linus Pauling to W.H. Freeman. July 16, 1946Pauling states that he believes Olsen and his colleagues will produce a good quanititattive book. Pauling briefly discusses the success of Glenn Seaborg's text on nuclear chemistry, noting that he intends to contact Seaborg regarding the publication of a textbook for undergraduate and lower level graduate students. Pauling notes that, if Seaborg completes another text, he hopes to use it in an upcoming course on nuclear chemistry.
