Circular medal with image of stars and organic form on obverse and inscription in Russian: "Institut Bioorganicheskoi Khimii, Imeni M.M. Shemîàkina A.N. SSSR." Reverse side has text in Russian "IBKh" and "1959, 1984, XXV" and a laurel wreath with rectangular shapes above it.

Awarded by Novosibirskii institut bioorganicheskoií khimii (Akademíà nauk SSSR).
