Name: Bump, Jessie E.
Historical Note: Born in Perrydale, Oregon in 1880, Jessie Bump initially attended Oregon Agricultural College (OAC) during the 1896-97 school year. She returned in 1918 and then again in 1923 to complete her undergraduate degree in Home Economics, which she obtained in 1924. Working as a mother and teacher between her years as a student, Bump attended OAC at the same time as two of her children, Victor Leland and Chester Allen Bump.
