The Lehi F. Hintze Geological Reconnaissance Maps of Oregon consist of geologic maps prepared and assembled by Hintze for much of the state of Oregon. Lehi Ferdinand Hintze was a faculty member in the Oregon State College Geology Department from 1949 to 1955.

Statement on Access: Collection is open for research.
Statement on Description: Most of the maps were treated as a collection within the Map Room and were assigned the call number G4291 C5 [n.d.] O7. However, many of the maps in Series III had been assigned individual call numbers within the Storage Maps. These individually cataloged maps have been united with the other Hintze maps to form this collection.
