Dear Crelly:
Mama is up at the ranch, and I am going up this afternoon, to stay until 20 or 21 August, I think.
I don't know whether or not we shall be there during the period that you mention in your letter, the end of the month, but I think it would be quite all right for you to stop off for your visit, and for the Arthurs to stay overnight, if they have some place to sleep — that is, if they have sleeping bags and cots.
I don't think that electricity will be in by that time.
I hope that we can go to see the film that you mention. I'll tell mama that you suggested it.
We are getting along well. I have sent in a paper on nuclei to Physical Review Letters and another to Nature, and I hope to send one to Proc. Net. Acad. Sci. in a couple of days, and one to Science in about a week - all on the structure of nuclei.
Much love,
