  • Letter from G.C. Wadsworth to LP, RE: Wadsworth sends LP his first attempt to write for publication. Wadsworth thinks that he has come up with a big idea about matter and force (which he calls RETAK). Several of his better educated friends thought that he wasn't saying anything new, but his nephew's astronomer friend thought that it was. Wadsworth's manuscript deals only with matter, but his theories seem so big to him that he hopes to write a book following them through life, health, morals, ESP, and religion.
