Dearest little love:
I hope that you are feeling well and not working too hard. I have been improving a bit - not so much stiffness or hoarseness.
On Thursday I talked with the ONR people about the meeting & our contract, & went to the reception & dinner - there are 200 people attending the symposium. Yesterday I presided: Dave Pressman, Haurowitz, Kirkwood, Joes Hirschfelder, & others spoke, & I had dinner with Sydney, at his house - Harvey was there, too. Today finishes our meeting; I am to summarize at the end. Dr Jehle also spoke.
I have had trouble sleeping, & have taken Seconal. [?]
The weather remains good. This hotel is out several miles, along l6th St. The food is excellent. I 've read a couple of books from the Coleman St. Memorial Library, which I had brought along.
Much love from your
Paddy
