Letter from Linus Pauling to I.S. Ravdin. October 15, 1951

Pauling writes to ask if he could speak with Ravdin about the possibility of increased production of Oxypolygelatin, invented by Pauling, Campbell, and Koepfli, during his November trip to Philadelphia to attend American Philosophical Society meetings. He feels that increased production of his blood substitute would be good due to the royalty deal with the California Institute Research Foundation and the low production cost. Don Baxter, Inc. of Glendale California is the only manufacturer of Oxypolygelatin that Pauling knows of at this time.  View Transcript
