Dear Dr. Ott:

We have received application blanks and booklets from you, and shall distribute them to interested students.

It seems unlikely that we shall have any men taking Doctor's degrees this year who are not already employed in some war work. If it happens that one of our able men is available, I shall see that he makes application to you.
