Dear Professor Murdock:
We would be glad to have you come here to work with the business machines and get acquainted with our laboratory during any period that is convenient for you. February or March would be quite all right or a later time. The machines are not in use all the time, and I think that it would be possible for you not only to learn how to operate them but also to get as many calculations from your own data as you want. I think that it would be a good idea for you to find out what machines are available on the campus at Ithaca before you come, in order that our boys can decide whether they could be utilized in connection with a suitable set of cards. If you wanted to get cards for Cornell it might be wise to [d]o it as soon as possible.
