In interview 1, Lundeen talks about his early life in Oregon and describes his parents' backgrounds. Other topics covered are his enlistment in the U.S. Army, his wedding, graduation from Oregon State College, early military assignments, wartime experiences and early days at Dow.

In interview 2, Lundeen recounts the details of his undergraduate experience at Oregon State College. Topics covered include his first impressions of the college and meeting his future wife during his first class. Lundeen also discusses life experiences in Corvallis and Albany, college classes, ROTC, early experiences at a lumber company in Westport, Oregon, enlistment in the U.S. Army and his initial hire at Dow Chemical.

In interview 3, Lundeen discusses his mother, his teenage years as a Boy Scout, his wartime experiences in China and India, and his receipt of the Bronze Star. The bulk of the interview, however, is devoted to Lundeen's experiences at Dow Chemical, including the development of his business principles, important colleagues, his time working both stateside and in Hong Kong, and the extensive amount of international travel that his work required.

In interview 4, Lundeen speaks to his brief experience as head of Dow Latin American Affairs, his chairmanship of the Dow board and his retirement from Dow Chemical. He also reflects upon other topics including his time at Tektronix, his philanthropy at OSU - specifically the OSU library renovation project - his love of Orcas Island, Washington and his thoughts on effective leadership.
