The Human Resources Records consist of policies, reports, correspondence, memoranda, personnel files, faculty/staff salary lists, and award nomination packets.

Accession 1996:001 includes OSU's management service layoff policy.
Accession 1996:070 includes affirmative action reports and related documentation and correspondence.
Accession 1998:001 includes the OSU Telecommuting Policy and a memorandum to the campus community about the consolidation, reorganization, and move of Human Resources.
Accession 1998:108 includes policy correspondence pertaining to student and classified employees, strike planning, leave and grievance procedures, and political activities of employees; collective bargaining agreements between OSEA/OPEU and OSU and between the Oregon Printing Employees Association and OSU; and a 1979 Corvallis Prevailing Wage Survey Report.
Accession 1999:001 includes the 1996/99 collective bargaining agreement with Oregon Public Employees Union (OPEU); the result of the graduate assistant unionization vote; routing summaries for human resource documents; and appointment procedures for graduate assistants.
Accession 1999:109 includes records pertaining to OSU's EEO-1 Compliance Report submitted to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Accession 2000:001 includes memoranda sent to various OSU deans, managers, and department heads concerning new employee orientation, graduate employee negotiations, and hiring procedures.
Accession 2001:001 includes memoranda sent to various payroll staff, deans, department heads, and directors regarding updates and changes in procedure and policy relating to management service layoffs, forms for staff fee requests, and the employee termination process.
Accession 2002:001 includes memoranda and announcements e-mailed to various department personnel contacts and other OSU faculty and staff regarding changes in the staff fee program, criteria for processing retirement paperwork for unclassified employees, usage of department mailing addresses, the OSU advertiser profile page in the "Chronicle of Higher Education," and nomination guidelines for the Employee Award Program for Classified and Professional Faculty Employees. Also included in this accession are nomination packets for 2002 Exemplary Employee Award winners Carolyn Dingus and Bill Oye.
Accession 2003:001 includes a copy of the faculty/staff salary list generated quarterly by the Office of Human Resources. Arranged in alphabetical order by last name, the list is divided into two sections, one containing classified staff members and the another unclassified. Information featured in these listings include: position title, monthly salary, office of employment, hire date, and appointment status.
Accession 2003:005 includes personnel files of OSU employees on microfiche. Arranged alphabetically by last name of employee, this set of microfiche was generated as a backup security copy to the set used for reference by the Archives staff.
Accession 2004:001 includes two faculty/staff salary lists and announcements e-mailed to OSU employees via various listservs. The salary information, generated by the Office of Human Resources in 2003 and 2004, is arranged in alphabetical order by last name and is divided into two sections: classified staff members and unclassified. These listings include: position title, monthly salary, office of employment, hire date, and appointment status. The announcements pertain to regulations governing personal services contacts for courtesy and affiliate faculty, distribution of new OSU ID cards, addition of a day of paid leave for unclassified staff, and Ronald Reagan Commemoration Day.
Accession 2004:022 includes personnel records relating to seven OSU employees and is primarily made up of correspondence, sabbatical leave forms, and excerpts from Oregon State Board of Higher Education meeting minutes. The employees are: Carlson, C. Carlile; Carlson, Donald Thomas; Carmichael, Ronald; Carr, James A.; Case, Lucy A.; Case, Sarah V.; Casswell, Maud C.
Accession 2005:001 includes announcements e-mailed to OSU employees via various listservs from the Office of Human Resources. The topics addressed in these messages include: rules regarding early unit closure during the holiday season, discontinuance of the Employee Records and Information service, wording modifications to sample letters of offer for fixed-term employees, length of service calculation guidelines, and faculty salary increase information.
Accession 2006:001 includes two faculty/staff salary lists and announcements e-mailed to OSU employees via various listservs from the Office of Human Resources. The lists, generated in March and June 2006, are arranged in alphabetical order by last name and are divided into two sections: classified staff members and unclassified. These listings include: position title, monthly salary, office of employment, hire date, and appointment status. The topics addressed in the announcements include: the move to an online position description and recruitment system, contract renewal/non-renewal letters, and online performance evaluations.
Accession 2007:001 includes five faculty/staff salary lists and announcements e-mailed to OSU employees via various listservs from the Office of Human Resources. The lists were generated in September 2006; and March, June, July, and August 2007. They are arranged in alphabetical order by last name and are divided into three sections: classified staff, unclassified staff, and unclassified graduate student employees. These listings include: position title, monthly salary, office of employment, hire date, and appointment status. The topics addressed in the announcements include: nominations for Exemplary Employee Awards, a call for campus volunteers to test new tasks in the OSCAR database, and information about faculty salary increases for fiscal year 2007/08.
Accession 2008:004 includes policy and procedure statements issued by the following OSU administrative offices and departments: Business Affairs (RG 17), Public Safety (RG 82), Student Affairs (RG 102), Human Resources (RG 126), International Education (RG 164), Research Office (RG 170), Affirmative Action (RG 172), University Advancement (RG 210), University Archives (RG 220). Among the topics covered by these statements and handbooks are: the campus AIDS policy, guidelines for employee political activity, hiring foreign faculty, the Family Leave and Medical Act, handling of scientific and scholarly misconduct allegations, and the management of Extension Service/Experiment Station records.

The lists were generated in September 2007; and January, March, June 2008. They are arranged in alphabetical order by last name and are divided into three sections: classified staff, unclassified staff, and unclassified graduate student employees. These listings include: position title, monthly salary, office of employment, hire date and appointment status. The topics addressed in the announcements include: consideration of veterans in the hiring procedure, an OUS audit of OSU leave reporting administration, 25-year service recognition, and union membership deductions. The nomination packets were generated as a part of the Exemplary Employee Awards.

The lists were generated in December 2008; January and March 2009. They are arranged in alphabetical order by last name and are divided into three sections: classified staff, unclassified staff, and unclassified graduate student employees. These listings include: position title, monthly salary, office of employment, hire date, and appointment status. The topics addressed in the announcements include: the Secure Flight data-collection program, procedures for retrieval of university equipment from departing staff, and office posting of information about state/federal employment laws. The nomination packets were generated as a part of the Exemplary Employee Awards.
Accession 2010:001 includes announcements e-mailed to OSU staff and faculty through various listservs by the Office of Human Resources. Both of the messages relate to the use of mandatory unpaid furlough leave by OSU employees due to budget constraints.
Accession 2011:001 includes faculty/staff salary lists generated by the Office of Human Resources. The lists are dated: September 2009; September 2010; and February, May, July 2011. They are arranged in alphabetical order by last name and are divided into three sections: classified staff, unclassified staff, and unclassified graduate student employees.
