Accession 2001:034 includes a brass wall plaque and a coaster with the OSU Centennial logo, featuring a design which Waldron developed.
Accession 2001:066 and 001 includes material covering subjects of Waldron's retirement from OSU, his service in the military and career before 1942, and the activities of his son, John, as well as the Fall 2001 edition of the Pacific Northwest Library Association (PNLA) Quarterly which features an article on a letter sent by former PNLA President Rodney Waldron to the publication.
Accession 2003:001 includes materials primarily pertaining to Waldron's work as OSU Librarian. The correspondence consists of replies to letters Waldron wrote to Congressman Ron Wyden and Senator Mark Hatfield about particular legislation and issues. A photocopy of the emblem Waldron created for the OSU Centennial Commission is also included among these materials.
Accession 2003:056 includes a copy of "Colorado Magazine" which contains a short article written by Waldron. The article, entitled "Votes Cast for Location of Colorado's Capital," was written by Waldron as a part of a student internship with the Colorado Division of State Archives. Waldron was enrolled in the Library School at the University of Denver at the time.
Accession 2004:026 includes documentation of interaction with other fellow librarians and staff at the OSU Library as well as the larger Oregon librarian community, these papers also include his editorials to the Corvallis Gazette-Times concerning various topics and items pertaining to his earlier career as an archivist in the State of Colorado.
Accession 2009:026 includes a framed letter from Katharine Jefferts Schori, a photograph album, a scrapbook, and a written narrative by Waldron about his military service in World War II entitled "True Tales of a Typewriter Commando." Primarily made up of photographs documenting retirement parties for Waldron, the scrapbook also contains two hand-made booklets honoring Waldron's service to the OSU Library "Sir Rodney Retires, (or) The Last Rod' n Real: A Vignette" and "The Ace Awes 'Em Again and Again." The images in the album also depict retirement events, but also include postcards and notecards showing campus buildings and the Benton County Courthouse.The letter from OSU alumnus Schori to Waldron also contains two newspaper clippings about her position as head of the U.S. Episcopal Church and her OSU connections.
Accession 2010:001 includes three Christmas cards to Waldron from fellow faculty member Nels Sandgren. The cards contain original artwork by the Art Department professor Sandgren, whose mosaic tilework is featured in the OSU Library.
