Adelphian Literary Society Records, 1882-1891

Materials relate to the organization and activities of the society. The trust agreement pertains to the society's dissolution in 1889 and the transfer of its library to the college. All records are in both paper and microfilm formats.

An addition to the Adelphian Literary Society Records (Accession 2007:057) consists of a statement issued by the Adelphian Literary Society proclaiming the dedication of an unidentified hall on January 6 1882. Measuring 16x20 inches and made of a heavy, vellum-like paper stock mounted to wood, the handwritten statement lists the officers, active members, and honorary members of the Adelphian Literary Society.
